One of the fantastic authors at Authors’ Day at the Muller House Museum. Sunday, March 2nd, 1 – 4 p.m. 1542 S. Beacon Street:
Gloria Ramos, Co-Author of “Becoming Happy: 30 Ways to Heal Your Mind, Body, and Soul”, is an elected official, educator, professional organizer, and life and legacy coach dedicated to helping leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and policymakers overcome childhood betrayal trauma and build fulfilling, purpose-driven lives. A proud daughter of a Mexican immigrant and a descendant of Vermont’s founders, Gloria’s diverse heritage instilled in her a deep respect for education, self-reliance, and community service. As a mother of two, including a son on the autism spectrum, her personal experiences have shaped her understanding of resilience, leadership, and transformation. With a background as a librarian, high school teacher, business owner, and construction math instructor, she has been instrumental in revitalizing educational programs and advocating for student success. A passionate cook who believes in the power of gathering, she extends that same warmth into her coaching, guiding high-achieving individuals to heal, reconnect, and create a legacy of impact. Her latest contribution to Becoming Happy reflects her mission to inspire deep transformation, empowering others to cultivate joy, fulfillment, and lasting change in their lives. She is currently writing her solo book, “Healing Through Purpose, Leadership, Service, and Legacy”, set to be released in November 2025. A lifelong lover of the San Pedro area, Gloria was born and raised in Hawthorne, but her deep family ties to San Pedro since the 1980s have shaped her desire to retire in its beautiful coastal community.
